Low’s Mimi Parker has died. The band announced the news on its official Twitter account this morning (November 6). “Friends, it’s hard to put the universe into language and into a short message, but she passed away last night, surrounded by family and love, including yours,”

She's gone. But she lives on through her music.

Foundation Skate promos got me into Low in the early 2000's. It's been 15 years; thank you for this.

You were a fool

Maybe you didn't listen to much college type rock radio esp. Radio K in MSP area. But now you have almost 30 years of true variety to discover that was not determined by sales motivation. From lullabies to noise to (relatively) uptempo upbeat rock like this. Enjoy.

@@Whityfisks - a fool is kinda of harsh. I like to think of it as.. I didn't have access to them from the local music outlets back in the day.

@@chuckeye7475 - You are spot on. I am in Boston and college radio focused of local bands, and "major" acts. Commercial radio was shite in the 2000's around here. As you point out, there is so much music to discover. Thanks!!

Is it just me or is the audio really low on this tune? Sounds great but quite low... =)
