Hello friends! In this 3 minute video, I'm going to share with you how to make egg tarts!
You must be familiar with the Hong Kong egg tarts (蛋挞) if you like Cantonese dim sum. It is a MUST HAVE when you enter a Hong Kong Café (香港茶餐廳)!
This is the perfect Chinese style tea-break snack recipe! With extremely flaky, buttery tart crust and smooth, silky custard filling that will blow your mind away! It’s best served hot and fresh from the oven! My version is not only keto friendly and low carb, it is reduced “sugar” and less sweet as well. Great to serve to elderly or kids.
If you are someone who dislike rolling and handling dough sheet, this is great for you too!
Do not worry if you do not have the right mold for this. A muffin tin works just fine!
Keep in airtight container when they have cooled down on counter for 3 days.
Now here are the ingredients!
Ingredients (6 Serving):
{TART CRUST}
90g Almond Flour
15g Coconut Flour
40g Soften Butter
1 Egg
{EGG CUSTARD FILLING}
25g Erythritol + 30ml Hot Water
1 Egg
90g Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2tsp Vanilla Essence
⚠️You may replace erythritol with sugar and almond milk with normal milk if you are not on any special diet.

15g椰子粉
40g室溫牛油

(馅料)
25g赤蘚醇 + 30ml熱水
1蛋
90ml無糖杏仁奶
1/2tsp香草精
⚠️如果您没有任何特殊饮食,则可以用糖代替赤藓糖醇,而普通牛奶可以替代杏仁奶。
