Alycia has a wealth of practical knowledge from her experience, very obvious from this video alone. How would she even begin to incorporate that into a cookbook? Boggles my mind. She IS a genius!!!! Imo, if she needs an example of a well-made cookbook, Carol Ketchum's (All Day I Dream About Food) spiral cookbook is great... super photos, extra thick pages and the spirals. Spirals are more pricey yet I am certainly willing to purchase those over the regular sub-quality cookbooks floating around. Alycia, your minions are pleading for your cookbook......please!!! 🐱

Hi Alycia and Van👋🐈 Oh good, I have 1.25 bags of Bamboo Fiber to get rid of. Berry crisps... mmmmmm, that's the bee's knees. I will try substituting rhubarb in it. 😻 I am 100% + with you when you stated in a vid, some time back, that you take small bites, to appreciate and enjoy the taste. Indeedy, same here!! Plus, you have found the way of not using almond flour. 😝 No allergies here but I do not enjoy the mealy taste that almond flour leaves in my baked goods. Muffins and cookies, with almond flour, remind me of my mum's baked Bran muffins 🤢 Van is learning from a fantastic mum! Well done!! See ya in the funny papers. 🐱

❤ your recipes ❣️ THANK YOU 😊 I also prefer oat fiber over bamboo fiber. When making crumble, I add crushed nuts and very little oat flakes (yes I know not keto, but it’s not much)

A little allulose in your topping would get enhanced browning. I can't wait to try the oat fiber version!
@KetoUpgrade9 ай бұрын
True but it may burn for the inside gets bubbly and may keep the crumble soft. Allulose can be tricky. Hope you enjoy!

What about doing a mix of part oat and part bamboo? I have both and need to use them up, lol. This looks great! Love your recipes! ❤

Will work and probably taste better than all bamboo. Lol. Thank you!

Another good one, I'm away to try this one too. Last weeks recipe was really good, I made individual ones and filled it with a keto chocolate ganache. Thanks again. Oh I agree a cookbook would be great. 🧡

Mine is in the oven. I had a little left of Victoria's 2.0 flour (with oat fiber) made up and used it as the dry ingredients just to use it up, so it is an experiment for sure. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the inspiration. I will be making your recipe exactly next to see the comparison. I love your channel! This is going to be a staple at our house, I am certain. Oh, and thanks for helping us find a way to use those frozen berries that have been buried in the freezer. 😉🤞❤💫

I am SO excited to make this! Thank you! You mentioned that you make this with chayote squash too. When you cook down the squash, do you add apple flavoring, cinnamon, etc? Update: I made this last night and it was so delicious! I used oat fiber and added the little bit of cinnamon. Huge hit! About 1/3 of my topping sunk into the berry filling while baking, but it was still delicious. I will make this many times!

Nice, you're welcome! I will probably do an apple crisp for fall. But I have an apple crisp cheesecake that can be made into just regular crisp.

I've seen people use zucchini for apples, as once you add the cinnamon it tastes exactly like apples with same texture too!

Awesome! I freeze then defrost in fridge then warm in mic or oven. Works great with the oat fiber, it stays crisper. Thanks for the salad shooter!!! Really appreciate it!

I'm not sure, you would probably need less I'd think. Worth a shot, probably won't be bad and it's not a ton of ingredients.

Is the flavor different from the oat? Oat tastes like nothing to me, but I haven’t tried the bamboo yet. I just bought it. Do you know if bamboo needs to be cooked?
@KetoUpgrade9 ай бұрын
I have mentioned it in other videos I sometimes get a flavor if there is a lot in a recipe but it was just more powdery than the oat fiber. I don't know about the chances of contamination with bamboo, if it's like regular flour or not. I ate it raw in my biscuit video though and mentioned the taste.
