That is amazing. I would never imagine you could "fix" a 2 stroke this way. Although I guess its fuel use is higher and life span shortened.

I'm trying this right now. One thing to ensure you look at is how the ring is in before removing it. If you look, the cut is on a 45-degree angle going uphill, but double-check.

Great video buti would have put some assembly lube on the piston or tramission fluid so it wasn't such a dry start when you crank it further first time just me though

You replaced the piston ring or only sanded it?

Only sanded take out the scratches and make it smooth. Has to be smooth and fairly round to make a good seal. Also try to minimize flat spots when sanding, try to rotate ring as you sand.

Start with 100 until score marks are gone then smooth it out with, 150 then 200, then around 400 and you should be good
