Low Cost Machine Vision Fruit Sorter - Final Year Project EXPO Demo

Machine Vision System to sort apples on 3 classes - red, green and damaged. Controlled by Handy board microcontroller and uses HALCON 12 software for image analysis.

It needs people to place the fruit in the middle,right or left of the belt conveyor to ensure the damaged can drop in the middle bin, green or red apple can be separated by the rotated plastic sheet. Yes, it will save much cost, but if the production capacity is pretty much, the accuracy won't be satisfied. But the design referred some others ideas. And I believe it will be better after upgrading, include the sensor.
