LOW COST Semi Commercial Goat House [good for 100 to 150 goats]

A lot of people want to start a semi commercial goat farm. A semi-commercial goat farm means 25 doe level--female goats, However, To start a goat farm, one has to build a goat house first. How do you plan on making a goat house so that you will not end up spending a lot of money? This video wanted to show the cheapest way of building a goat house.
What are the materials that one can use to lessen cost? The answer is to use materials that are cheap. Example of cheap materials for goat house is bamboo, and coco lumber.
This video also discusses why slatted plastic mats should be preferred when money is available. Slatted flooring promotes healthy goats. Aside from flooring, the walls are discussed so that there is very good ventilation.

Hi, I am Dr. Pio M. Sian , 80, retired from 51 year medical practice mostly in Florida and last 6 years in Navajo Nation.We used to do medical missions in the Philippines in the 90's and early 2000's. I noticed that there are twice as many goats in the Phils than in US. Infant feeding is awful. And no real milk available except very expensive. I always preach milking the goats. The first very important thing is to separate the males, so they don't "Mark" the females with their smell. Non breeder males are best castrated. Wethers are castrated males, more tame, no smell, grows faster and more meaty, no fights for dominance nor female favors. I still have about dozen Nigerian Dwarf Goats in my backyard. Afew years ago when I was stronger before I had the surgery I milked them. 7 lbs of fresh milk from a 70 lb doe. That's 10%, I can open a lee way of brain exchange with you if OK with you.

Start small, di naman po talaga maselan ang kambing. Basta hindi nauulanan okey na po, pag nagsimula ng kambingan, isang yero lang nga po ang kailangan ng 4 na kambing. Importante may sisilungan at may maapakan na nakataas na papag kasi ayaw nilang nakaapak sa basa.

We usually graze them--so its basically feeding in the wild. On days that we do not graze them, we feed them Pakchong--or what's known as super napier grass plus some other legumes like moringa leaves, indigofera leaves etc.

Hindi naman po, basta gawan nyo po ng paraan para may araw na pumapasok sa kulungan kapag umaga at natatakpan naman po pag hapon. Tignan nyo na rin po ang direksyon ng hangin.
