love these old church songs that many churches have pulled away from. These songs just stir up the spirit in the rooms, your feet get to patting, your body starts rocking and swaying with every verse, and your hands clapping til they are bright red. When you here this I say , you feel good all over.

Can this video still be purchased? You can tell they felt the ancestors when they started dancing in the spirit. Especially the lady at the very end

I was blessed enough to have known my great grandmother, Emma Corinne Dudley, who was born in 1894. She died at the age of 99 in April of 1994. I was also blessed to have known five of her siblings. My grandmother, Greatha Wheeler was her 8th child out of 12. In the late fifties my grandmother gave her life to the Lord and became a Seventh Day Adventist. And by the time I came along in 84 I was raised a Seventh Day Adventist. Her mother, Big Mama was a God-fearing Presbyterian Baptist I believe and I remember those red times we would go to her church on Sunday there were no instruments. No piano, no drums, no nothing but old people clapping and stomping their feet.Moaning and groaning. I was kind of scared of going to that church ( I was four years old, it was old, small, cold and kind of dark) my cousin and I had to endure pinches, swats to the back of the head with the fan for talking or falling asleep, or laughing at the old people singing. In the end it was all worth it because we were blessed with the best fried chicken in Newark New Jersey. The church is still standing to this day with my cousin Jerome Branham as the pastor. It sits on Mercer Street, across from Perry's Funeral Home.

I also remember listening to Rough Side of the Mountain growing up and you could not tell me that was not my grandmother's brother Rodger Lee Dudley and his wife singing this song. And one of my big cousin's convinced me it was them so I would go around telling people that was my great-uncle and his wife and they're famous gospel singers 😂😂😂

Andre Harris : What are you talking about? First Timothy 4:26 says? Why is it that some Black folks will never seek truths concerning your origin; and, this book on Christianity? You are told the same old tales and nothing changes for Black folks. And, many of you still believes that some returning to make it better for you. The Rapture is a myth and that book snd those characters you hold too much believe in are lies. It's time we as a people search for the hidden truths. Have you ever ask yourself, why, how, what, when and where your deliverance in health, finance/love/companionship with the right man forever/friendship/family, education/medicine/law/teaching/engineering/agriculture/English composition/business/banking/banking, etc. Webdites: www.Council of Chalcedon.com; www.
