I hate when people say low gpa and they say they have a 3.2 🙄. Thank yall for making this video

Haha yup 3.2 is a decent GPA, but as a pre-med or pre-PA it’s on the lower side

May I ask why PA and not NP since you’re an RN?
@pattersondavionrn7895 Жыл бұрын
@@PersonalStatementPros because PA focus and train on the physician model while NP focus on nursing model of care. I also always wanted to go the “PA” route.

I was just told by my professor to not even try because my GPA is too low
@PersonalStatementPros9 ай бұрын
I hate it when professors and academic advisors say that. Elijah had a 2.3 undergraduate GPA and he’s thriving in PA school now, straight A’s. I had a 2.9 undergraduate GPA, I graduated, passed the PANCE on my first try, and have been practicing at the top of my license in primary care and in urgent care. If you’re 100% sure this is what you want and you’re willing to work and prove yourself, then no one has the right to tell you you can’t.

The problem that I'm having here in Georgia is most PA Programs only take courses that are no older than 7-10 years old. Therefore, I'm limited to about 3 schools I can apply to and 1 online program. My question is I have a MS in Pharmacology. If my science GPA is below that 3.0, what can I do to raise it in terms of courses? I do not want to do another MS program. And i'm not willing to repeat all those undergrad courses, That's just a waste of time and money. I want to go to PA school.

Hey Boris ,quick question! I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I am currently re-taking an online Pathophysiology class. (Withdrew last semester). I currently have a 78% overall in the class,but I have one final left and 3 more quizzes to take. Today is the last day to withdraw. My dilemma is, is it better stick it out and hope I can do better and get B or potentially a C or drop the course again. Which is worse , getting a C or withdrawing for the second time? (For more context, I am doing my own post bacc, so it’s not required but trying to increase my gpa so my decision here is critical and struggling to see which is worse, a potential C or another withdrawal?)
