This is devastatingly poignant and beautiful. Mimi Parker's voice has never sounded so desperate. You just want to hold her and tell her everything will be okay. Jeff Tweedy's production has brought the best out of Low. I love the way the instruments weave in and out, especially grand piano build towards the end. You can almost feel the studio space itself, the Loft where all of Wilco's music is recorded, all tube amps and analog recording. It's so warm and real. I could lose myself in the mix.
