Thanks for the guide man, I swear in my boredom getting to jad for the 3rd time I had watched several guides on him and none of them ever mentioned the healers could respawn until I got to yours (this made me panic and die the second time). Always helps to find ironman guides anyways because some guides say you can do it with low level gear but they show max gear in their vids.

when i prayer flicked i kept getting hit by the mage... felt like i needed to keep the prayer on when it does its animation then when the magic is airborne i can turn off my prayer. also the toxic blowpipe is nice DPS but the range is so short it messed me up with the map. also the spawns were the worst for me. i think im going to check out the web weaver bow. i like how you explained everything in the video while you were doing it visually. its crazy how you used an MCB and a green D'hide armor set when i use an eclipse set with a toxic blowpipe and still failed with saradomin brews and 100 purple sweets.

The damage gets calculated before Jad even gets the projectile out , that's what messed me up my first attempt lmao , it's ganna take some time to get used too for sure , you should practice on a jad simulator , that's what I'm going to have to do

i think you forgot that you can go ranger tutor to make it so arrows/bolds etc goes in your ammo slot automatically so it could be nice to go turn on ;p

If you have an Ava's device 1k should be plenty but it doesn't hurt to bring a bit more

You definitely could but you'd have to play pretty well. I wouldn't recommend doing that setup for a first time cape.

correct me if I am wrong, but what you are doing is not protecting you every tic, but rather every second tic? if someones attack speed is an uneven number of ticks, this would not be a good prayer flicking method? the video is fantastic btw, I am amazed how runelite changed the way we can play this game.

Yep, that's correct! I'm protecting every other tick, but all the enemies in the fight caves attack every 4 ticks. You can protect every tick by turning your prayer on and off every single tick by just repeatedly double clicking.

I’m a new osrs player and I want to do the fight caves sometime within the next week or so. I got the rune crossbow but I haven’t been able to complete many clue steps for a msb. I noticed here you mentioned the rune crossbow and was wondering how viable you think it is? everyone I’ve talked to says msb is way better

Msb does more dps (due to faster attack speed) on enemies with lower defense, but rcb is more accurate so it's better for higher def enemies. The magers and jad are high enough defense that the rcb is definitely better on them, but everything else the msb is better. That said, rcb only fire cape is definitely doable! Good luck!

LMS definitely has a steep learning curve (I'm still pretty bad at it since I don't pvp much) but it's a lot of fun so don't avoid it forever! Good luck again on the fight caves :)

Nice video only complaint is the prayer flicking. Your average Joe does not know how to prayer flick like that, it could literally kill them if they tried. This video is directed to low lvls, not pros, so I would have not prayer flicked. Just keep the prayer on the whole time, because that's how most people/non pros do it

In his defense it's titled low level fire cape, not fire cape for beginners. This is way more of a guide for experienced players to get the cape on a lower level account that they have. Regardless, you could follow the guide with the same setup without flicking and be just fine
