here i want to say something sir . EVERY FIELD HAS ITS OWN VALUE N IMPORTANCE. MBBS DR. CANNOT DO EVERYTHING ALONE. AGR MIT WALY NA HOUN TOU X RAYS, ALTRASOUND TOU DISEASES, ISSUES KESY DIAGNOSE HOUN GY? MBBS MAI NAH HO TOU KXH KR LENA BETTER HAI. THATS ALL SIR

Sir with due respect can u expalin a few terms 1. A technician and a technologist in same speciality vs a simple mbbs vs mbbs/bds with specialization. 2. Medical laboratory scientist having Americian Society of clinical pathology (ASCPi) liscence. 3. Medical laboratory specialist, who is MLT having speciality in micro, hema, cyto, genetics, chemical path. 4. Similarly for other disciplines their are respective BS degrees and their specialities and offcourse their liscneceships which give them the title "The health care professionals and specialists" not just ordinary technicians. All these liscenceships can be achieved by applying to international exams Similarly mbbs/bds holders do for USMLE to have their specializations. And most importantly with due respect Sir , i completely disagree to u with your statement that after BS Allied health professionals are called technicians. Its only in Pakistan where MBBS and BDS have all the superior athority and they see AH professionals just mere technicians whereas all other countries have full respect, well defined scope ( not the one u explained Sir) , a well defined credibility and titles such as Medical lab speciliest (as for mlt graduats having liscenses) and same for other disciplines. Currently AHP council has been approved by Sanate Pakistan and National Assembly. Very soon Inshallah it will be implemented. Hope it will be helpful to some one starting career in AHS.

im doing BS in MLT, ap apna lob bhi khol sktin hain aur first 1.5 years apko basic information dia jata hai MBBS waly subjects mein like Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry. phr apky main subjects field se related shuru hojaty hain like Pathology, Serology, Hematology etc. hope my reply helped you.

Dear there is gross difference b/w 3-4 years program and 5 years MBBS plus one year house job plus 4 years specialisation in pathology or radiology. Nevertheless you can do any thing in Pakistan. Best of luck.
