"Mimi Parker of Low has died, according to social media updates by the band. Parker, who cofounded the Duluth-based rock group with husband Alan Sparhawk, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two years ago. Since then, Low had cut back on live performances and Parker received treatment. An update posted Sunday morning reads: “Friends, it’s hard to put the universe into language and into a short message, but She passed away last night, surrounded by family and love, including yours. Keep her name close and sacred. Share this moment with someone who needs you. Love is indeed the most important thing.” From Minnesota Public Radio.

when I hear the music of low, and I know that Mimi is no longer with us, I feel a deep sense of missing. Low's music makes me feel like I've gotten to know her a little bit. I saw low in the Paradiso in Amsterdam 20 years ago or so, the building is an old church, was one of the most beautiful performances, ever.

Having the madness for trying, even with or without this peculiar word who is both a dream and a nightmare ; " HOPE '' . Is so a dangerous concept. I try to manipulate it with cautions but when we're just still blind about ourselves....can persue yourself to continue right away trough the limits, even there's big signs to show you to stop. That' s also the reason why i'm this woman. To crazy to stop if i feel i must go and intent a risky fly in emptiness. This suppose not even a little part of ego. Ikcan do that i know it. The problem is when i need juste a little selfcare to evaluate what can occure in facts after my fearless choice. With the orhers. Thoses who love me who care, who prefere show me stay abroad living free from a shitty dose of self love not in place. I havn't so much qualities and thoses qualities are my biggest fault. Doing nothing dont deliver solution. Love for orhes i lover bring me another image of myself in life, trying my best to see my true self and support it even is i am a shadow monster.so sometime, i dare take the fly even i'm blind cause i feel people who loves me dont have any solurions to propose. They need my progress, and so i'm I. Dont pretend to do that for being love excusively. Also for trying other solutions, winthout fearing and facing now what i can represent. Assuming my thoughts, even thoses unknown from myself. Inconscious thoughs are realy difficult to bring on shoulders the responsability. And anyway my place is just for all theses reasons really often a negative place to stay, not important and both never free from guiltyness. Loud madness, loud love, loud violence, loud and so precious humanity. I can t just leave and go to simply forgetting some terrifying words said by good people on my. Jugement,is the most difficult thing to leave out of yourself. It s only the most beautiful thing if you can afford a several seconds without pronouncing zero word of love or hate or what you think for once about what you think. Thinking on our own thoughts is te RealHell. The most deep, the most in fire. The most perfect to show you the more prefect of fear. These who know you so well. Make of yourself the worst ennemy possible in life. Share the shitty words and the shitty feeling with your best friend. Face them. Fly blind girl! Never regret not to say only equal things never excuse you for being blind, and so an a bad friend sometimes.

I've been looking for professional help for a while and today I got one step closer. I'm sharing my story here so just maybe you'll see that theres someone struggling who found your music to help them get through another day, so now I'm forever in your debt. your music is lovely and will probably help me fall asleep tonight, please dont stop creating.
