This is by far my favorite Phil and Friends lineup. Haynes and Herring are amazing together. And what a great cover...I do this song often with the keyboard player I jam with.. This song is timeless.

A penultimate cover. This song was alwayse profound, perhaps now in particular. Right on time.

Saw it 1 time right out of BOB DYLAN'S JUST LIKE TOM THUMBS BLUES. Now that was a gratifying and soul pleasing surprise

Amazing rendition of Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. Gotta wonder though, how it would sound, with Stevie Winwood, as a guest-keyboardist.

Saw this lineup as Phil and Friends at the Warfield. Glad to see they got the band back together.

Phil is such a class act. The PLQ hits such unbelievable highs. Hope to the heavens this wasn’t their last run together.

Read a little bit of personal info about Miles and hopefully you learn that not only was he a career heroin addict he was famous for playing with his back to the audience so that it would be easier for them to kiss his black ass

This is a similar lineup to what the band was offering up in 2001-2 as "The Dead". Phil, Bobby, Mickey, Bill, Jeff Chimenti, Warrern Haynes and Jimmy Herring. We saw that act in Idaho and they were really fine. This line-up is the best GD offshoot I've heard. I like John Mayer ok. He's a fine guitar player, but I don't think he truly "gets" it as far as this kind of music.

Likewise. This band was my first exposure to live GD music. High bar to set.
