The rods may well be garbage but you are supposed to heat the job up not the rod itself, pieces need to be thoroughly clean.

I was gonna say the same. This was horrible to watch. But to whomever is wondering does this work. Yes just use your base metal to melt your rod. Walla 😅

the idea is get the metal hot enough that when the rod melts by touching the rod on the metal don't use the flame to melt the rod

Yeah! I purchased the same rods from Temu and had the same problem using them, but I gathered that one should heat the elements you want to weld together first very HOT! I tried it at first by heating the elements and then tried to use the rod but with no luck. In my experience from the past, I always used to heat the elements first hot enough and then bring the rod together with what I wanted to weld together. My problem here was that the seller showed a person using a cigarette lighter and that was the trigger for me to buy the items. I wanted to use them on things where low heat is required. The add was totally misleading!

Primero limpia bien la pieza con cepillo de acero o piedra. No apliques fuego a la varilla. Aplica fuego a la pieza, pero más del que estás aplicando. El calor de la pieza es quien funde a la varilla. El fuego directo a la varilla no ayuda sino que daña la varilla. El fuego se aplica a la pieza que quieres soldar

That's not welding rod or even brazing rod, That's solder. I also recommend applying a liquid flux designed for steel if you're gonna solder to it. You'll need to work the heat into the metal, don't directly heat the spot where the solder is going. brush your metal joints with flux, then apply heat just behind that and move the torch around to get both parts heated before filling with solder.

Aluminium road not suitable iron road steel road and copper. Only useful same metirial. And pype heating like red colour comes ofter welding perfect.

Nothing welds to galvanizing? You need to grind of the galv 1st or use oxy and burn it off... If burning it off use a mask as the fumes are toxic. Then try it again heating the mating surface up to temp 1st as others say. Purchased some to try as well ...

looks like it is not hot enough. Perhaps a larger torch with higher BTU? second maybe needed. You may also consider wire-brushing the metal so it is clean. Lastly check if the bricks you are using are absorbing too much of the applied heat. You may need to move the work area further away from the brick or use some other method of holding the work pieces

Kawat brazing rod... Video ini misleading karena judulnya welding... lebih tepat disebut brazing. Satu level di atas soldering. Perbedaan soldering dan brazing hanya di panas... soldering tidak perlu memanaskan workpiece, brazing perlu memanaskan workpiece tanpa perlu mencapai titik lebur, welding perlu memanaskan workpiece hingga titik lebur.

complete nonsense mate, you have absolutely no idea what you are doing. this is useless soldering, or brazing at best, but we dont know the specs of the rods even. they probably not even for steel. the parts are not cleaned. i did this when i was 12 and did not understand why it does not work
