No, since most of the pathways ask for get a 2+ years or permanent job offer, and this new law only will let you get a maximum12 months job offer. Immigration law says "We want all temporary workers continue being that, temporary" in other words Canada dont want more PRs. Thats it

​@@l.a.5474Don't worry punjabi and punjabi agents can do everything. One of friend going on visitor visa and agent already taken LMIA approval for him for truck driver for 2 years. After 2 years, he will get DIRECT PR. People from Punjab find a way.... He will go on visitor visa and then switch to work visa by doing FLAGPOLLING ON BORDERS. If Canada stops complete conversion like flagpolling, then only these people stop. Now a days, people using only FLAGPOLLING. Punjabi people are very clever.

Hi, My wife is in canada working .. she has 2 year work permit.. low wage Lmia.. 1) will her work permit extend after 2 years.. if so.. how many years? 2) I have submitted my SOWP on Aug 20.. will this issue cause any issues to my approval? Your response is highly appreciated

@@bhanukodam9065 no extension after work permit expires. New LMIA will be required again. You will get refusal for low wage lmia SOWP.
