Love my Z-8s, perfect for my needs in the bush and on the paddocks, when I first got them they did have a tight spot at my small toes that rubbed, my local shoe repairer put them on the stretcher overnight and they've been perfect ever since, it was a $10 fix and probably just the shape of my feet that caused it anyway.

Hey Stuart I spent the day in them today and absolutely loved them! The only thing I did was swapped out the innersoles for some gel ones I run in my work boots now their awesome 👌

For Sambar hunting I'd go the Ranger or Tibet, for everything else the EVOs are awesome 👌

Have your new boots got rollers on the bottom laces and hooks above the angle joint, it’s a good feature?

Hey Rex they don't have the hooks up top but they do have a lace locking loop in the middle to help keep tension on the bottom loops.

correct me if I am wrong but these boots look less stiff in comparison to desert elite...? Am I right or do they have the same level of stiffness in a sole and upper shoe?

Sorry I haven't got any experience with the Desert ELITE. They are quite a good flex without being too soft for off trail hiking with weight on.

Cheers I was considering these but that's a bit of beef, at the end of the day it whatever works for the individual but for me these would be for heavy packing, I like around 600grams for a size 11 in a walkaround boot

@@alberttresslevic914 fair enough these are still a very solid boot with tons of ankle support and after the first 2 days wearing them on the farm I can tell they will be fine for backpack hunting but time will tell if they stand up to that kind of punishment
