Great to see old stuff get new use. Re sketchy hydraulics - careful not to get yourself accidentally injected with high pressure fluid when handling leaky hoses under pressure. Apparently it does nasty things to your muscles and other soft tissue entering your body at 1500 psi. 😬

The tape on the hose is prob to protect it from rubbing on the frame. I know I'm years late to the party 😆

So get another cylinder and a new hose made up . Should be good to go.

I did end up putting on a new cylinder, but the old hose is actually holding up ok. Works pretty well now.

I love your ideas and useful ideas. But this is ridiculous...more work for something that isn't going to work properly. Nope....definitely not having fun idea. Might as well, hooked up a series of pulleys to control plow motion....but even that may not be fun in usefulness
