I was told that my knee pain and lower back pain could be a tight piriformis muscle in my glutes. He suggested that I sit on a lacrosse ball for 10 minutes every day until I stops hurting and then sit on it for around 2 mins. Do you agree with this??

How long would you say it takes to correct lower crossed syndrome? Im stretching and doing exercises to strengthen the weak muscles.
@Fitnessoriented10 жыл бұрын
Connor it is hard to say for sure given how everyone's body will react differently to exercises and stretching. If you workout at the gym 4 days a week though and incorporate Abdominal strengthening exercises, hip flexor stretching and glute strengthening, you should be well on your way to fixing it. Lower Crossed is basically called the Sitter's Disease, so it would help if you sit a lot to get up every 60 minutes and walk around for 5 minutes or do sit to stands in your chair to workout your glutes.

Fitness Oriented Ok. But if you had to put a time span on a case, I'll say your average case of LCS, what would you say a rough estimate is? I realize that it varies by situation, but I'm trying to get a number to think about. Thanks.

Connor Patton Connor I'd estimate about 2 months.

Is the lower crossed syndrome same as anterior pelvic tilt? My pelvis seems to be tilted forward and I really want to fix my posture. How long will it take for me to stand erect with a correct posture?
@Fitnessoriented9 жыл бұрын
+pranayaaaa Lower crossed syndrome can definitely cause anterior pelvic tilt. As for how long it will take, it depends. I'd recommend stretching your hip flexor muscles (Rectus Femoris and Iliopsoas), strengthening your Glutes, and strengthening your Abs. If you do those things, over time, you will correct your anterior pelvic tilt.

Fitness Oriented I have started doing those exercises. How often should I do them? Like everyday or every alternate day?
