Deciding between Bill and Bob is like deciding between Mom and Dad. You need them BOTH!

Bob? I cannot stand Bob if you're talking about that other painter. I never could. Not long ago I found where Bill was quite displease with him for Bill's reasons. I never liked him because I grew up watching Bill. Is okay to like Bob, but isn't my way.

I sure miss u sir...I have watched u longer than Bob Ross. I particularly enjoyed ur creation of mountains and skies! Ur interpretation of the mountains shows ur Alps influence. Ur mountains always looked so much more rugged than Ross. U were the master Ross the student...thank u for all the instruction : be at peace sir.

This the 1st time that I have seen Bill use his version of the Clear medium/Magic Clear. I knew that Magic Clear existed but didn't know if Bill ever used it. Because I know that Bob used his version of a Clear medium/Liquid Clear alot.

Fender178 I live in a country that has no access to Alexander nor Ross supplies . :( I had to come up with my own brushes and my own mediums and my own paints aaaaaah that was a suffering ,

I have magic black, which would work slighlty differently than this clear over dry black, am I correct? I recall seeing him do this before but had forgotten it completely.
@AAlexanderArt4 жыл бұрын
Wade Patton Magic Black Medium won’t work the same as the paint you add to the canvas will be muted by the black paint. You need the black to be dry and then add a coat of Magic Clear.
@wadepatton24334 жыл бұрын
@@AAlexanderArt Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. Is okay. I've got plenty of magic white and black to use up and am all out of flat latex black. Maybe someday I'll give that a whirl.

was there a copyright issue over the "clear"? (10:53, and at 11:00 mins) Thanks so much for uploading this by the way.
@ElLoco1824 жыл бұрын
as "clear varnish" or "magic clear" you can use just pure lindseed oil. it works for priming your (black) canvas or to thin down your paint.
