Example I'm from Brazil here most of the game servers are in São Paulo, I'm from Rio de Janeiro it's better use dns from Rio or São Paulo?

@@user-ht9vv9nk3y The best is cloudflare DNS, 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1 - remember it makes ping less up to 10ms not more.

@@DanielZH Yeah, but 1.1.1.1 in cmd with command "ping 1.1.1.1" Shows "40ms - 50ms" With google dns shows "5ms - 15ms" this change something?

Thank you I connected LAN to my modem and it worked!! Can also connect my router to my modem for even a better connection. The numbers worked at the end also. Awesome.

For DNS settings there are ways to check which is best for your connection. Usually most people use the google dns.

Biggest drawback with google dns is that they collect user data. Cloudfare is just as fast and doesn't collect data from users.

From google search - dns doesn’t affect your ping. Are you sure that it’s affect ?

Hi, DNS doesn't affect Speeds, but Ping? I can give you a few DNSs that makes your ping 500ms, (just to test), as I tested both in the video, it did affect about 5ms to decrease ping. I tried many times and it had effects, for example you can test verisign dns that increases your ping to almost all servers.

My xbox x series has nat type open weither with vpn or not. The issue here when i play fifa 23 with 18-20ms but game still move like slug even at 3am where its suppose to be smooth. I tried with vpn routee which give me max 50mbps and normal connection with 500mbps and both not working. The only thing that make different is changing my dns. Seem like cloudfare dns work much bettter than google for me. Is there any solution to improve the sluggish gameplay? For your info, im using benq mobiuz 27" and already reset my console few time. But in game, my player still run like mr.bean's car and my opponent run like ferrrari even with slow player lol.

Hi! Are you sure you have no packet loss to the game servers? I've heard this about FIFA 23 a lot that people say their team are slow, are you playing on 120Hz?

@@DanielZH yes i play on 120hz/1080. I dont know how to check packet loss to the server. But i can see when i do internet speed test, it shown 0% packet loss

@@sugarmin4832 yeah, if 0 packet loss then I don't know if the issue is from network, it might be because of opposite team connection maybe 🤔

@@DanielZH thanks alot for information daniel. There's 1 more question about vpn. Since i live in melbourne, australia and game server located in sydney?. Which one you prefer me to connected?. Melbourne server or sydney??. I tried both but it seem give me same ms in game. i dont really know which one has better ip and connection to the server.

@@sugarmin4832 It's all about the ping, if they both give you similar, so there's not much of difference, usually in far located servers VPN might help if it has lower ping in the same city (at least 20ms Lower) than the game server

دی ان اس به طور کلی تغییر یا تاثیر خیلی زیادی روی کیفیت اینترنت نمیذاره، البته بعضی دی ان اس ها هستن مکانت رو مخفی میکنن که ایرانی بودنت لو نره که بازم از ایپی لو میره پس عملا زیاد کاربردی نیستن. بهترین دی ان اس که توی پینگ هم تاثیر داره کلاد فلیر هست. در حد چند میلی ثانیه ممکنه پینگ کمتر کنه.

Hi could u please help me out here i am having some issues with ping, I am an Eu person playing on NA servers in valorant and i downloaded and bought expressvpn to help lower the ping (around 150-160) but it did not lower it what so ever even though i connected to the location where the game server is hosted, Oregon USA (i connected to Seattle as it is the closest option). Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi, sometimes if the game has an excellent server in that location, even getting a VPN won't help as you already have the least possible ping to the game server and 150ms to NA is what I usually get too. so yeah can't go lower, distance problem.

Hi, that's very hard, the first thing I usually recommend is looking for the best ISP that gives you lower ping typically and see if they provide a gaming service (which in some of them helps reduce Ping by different routing!)

No matter best dns or best vpn i use, My ping in fifa 23 ps5 still at 20ms. Im using HFC type internet with dynamic ip(automatic). Not sure if i should change it to ppoe or using coaxial splitter since coaxial connection not only transfer the internet but video and picture too.

20ms sounds very good. I don't know how sensitive FIFA is but 20ms is a good value.

@@breezy5251 i live in australia. If i play online season and my opponent from SEA region, my ping will be around 85-95, if the opponent from ASIA, India or NA my ping will be 140-180ms. Unless i use router like netgear xr1000, xr500 or netduma, you can limit your searching range but in fifa it only work in online season. And i noticed EA so tricky in Ultimate team. I play with opponent from SEA region(malaysia/singapore), or ASIA (china or japan) and my ping still shown 20-22ms, but gameplay delay like big ass.
