New neighbor stops by to say hello.... Neighbor: Hi there. You getting it fixed alright? Cameron: perturbed because he is being interrupted because gearheads hate to be interrupted when wrenching unless it is a naked woman demanding sex... Cameron: Hi homie. Nice to meet you. I am not fixing it per se. I am modifying the car. Neighbor: Huh? Why in the world would you modify an automobile? Sounds complicated. Cameron: Not everybody likes to lead a pedestrian life and follow the path of lemmings that only do what others dictate. I pulled the digital fake sound module also. Neighbor: Sound module. What the? Oh, gulp, I never thought of that. I only do what my wife tells me. I can't even use a pair of pliers and never really had a man card. I cry when I get a paper cut. Cameron: Maybe you could hold the camera for me in the future and bring me a beer when I am finished. Nice to meet you.

Loved this video, reminds me of my first time doing some serious work on a car. Things I recommend are a good battery powered impact to make removing bolts and nuts faster, and jackstands to put the car on so you can use the jack to hold suspension up for coilovers install. Also relying only on the floor jack to hold up the car is generally bad practice, as the hydraulics in the jack could fail at any time.
@carguy_dev2 жыл бұрын
Loved the video Cam! It looks great man. I lowered my 06 Mustang about 7-8 months ago, and I’ve loved every bit of it so far. As you’ve seen, with lowering your car you get the reward of the awesome aesthetics as well as the performance boost they give when taking turns quickly! As you mentioned, scraping is always a possibility, however, over time you’ll learn certain spots you need to avoid and honestly, just going slow over inclines and taking them at an angle one wheel at a time goes a long way! Because you’re so low to the ground and because these performance suspensions are meant to be more stiff than stock, you’ll definitely notice an increased road feel, which can be great for joyriding, but sometimes it can be annoying feeling every bump and crack in the road when daily driving. But hey! Coilovers are for fun not comfort haha. Keep up the good work man!
@noahbolt2 жыл бұрын
19:32 Both. I was shaking my head wondering why it took you 3 days to do something that would take me 3 hours (granted that's if no bolts strip due to rust lol). But then you said you had never done this before, and I remembered my awful first time. Watching you learn through the process and doing it on your own, successfully mind you, for the very first time was pretty neat. I'll tell you straight up, I had to have my dad help me through everything in the beginning because I was hopeless. Stripped bolts, broken parts, not being able to get the holes to line up. But with lots of time and practice (changing out so many different parts), I learned how to do it all on my own, in a timely manner. It's all a learning process, just like everything else. The more you do it, the better you're gonna get at it. Great video, and sweet car.

Nice vid. Next is the brakes. That is one of the biggest weak points of these cars, they come with very weak brakes from the factory considering these are meant to be momentum, handling HPDE type of cars.
