Great that being able to lower the bike is a built in feature. The linkage is a lever, so lengthening it to lower the bike gives more leverage which in turn softens suspension. When I first put raising links in the V-Strom it stiffened the suspension. Your scissor lift looks handy.

Great video Bazz - thanks. I am 5’7” (170) so need this. Just wondering that if you are only changing the front bolt to the other hole position - why do you need to remove the rear dog bone bolt? I am sure it is obvious but just haven’t worked that out. Cheers

@monst00 Thanks for watching, the dog bone was blocking the bolt from coming out. There may be a position where it's not but everyone I've seen do this has ended up removing it.

Great Instruction Bazz gets to see instruction from an Aussie guy. I'm thinking of purchasing the CF Moto 450 and wondering if you would know the cost of servicing mainly the 40000 service where valves have to be checked or adjusted? The dealers don't give you an actual cost. Any info on servicing cost would be greatly appreciated.

@BradWolff-j4s Thanks, mate. I payed $300 au for the irst service. Not sure about 40,000 service. It will definitely be a lot more. I better start saving for it in advance. You will love the bike, it is a lot of fun.

Hi Bazz! Why would you lower it when you increased it with the high seat at the same time?
@bazz66702 ай бұрын
@billyandriam the high seat was more of a comfort thing being more padding and giving legs a little more room. The tyres also raised the bike.

Hello I'm interested in this job, I also have a high saddle, and I'm 1.85 m tall, but my motivation is not so much to lower the bike but to have the suspension a little less snappy in the small roughness of the terrain. Since lowering the lever is longer on the shock absorber, do you know if this detail improves

@Mrenduro77 Yes, it will be softer just lowering it. It is ok if your not doing jumps.
