How about something on potted gardens, for those of us that can't have a traditional garden

The steps are basically the same - would you like to elaborate on your project? We may be able to point you in the right direction!

@@lowes like what plants work best for pots, choosing the right size pots for what your growing, soil type, starting with seeds & when vs buying starter plants, drainage, vining plants in pots, watering......I think that covers it 🤔 lol

I did enjoy what info you gave, but you did some and didn’t explain……..You split out the plants somehow, and missed telling us how to do that…..big part of how it looks…and your end design with all the pots….share how to arrange them….and the big tall pots…. do we fill them all the way up with soil too? I bought 4 tall pots and am afraid to plant them as I’m not sure how….please share on that too. Please please share more on this….how about a part 2, and maybe a part 3.

The arranging the plants really depends on how you like it. Lots of videos on KZbin though where I learned how to do it. Big and tall pots….you can fill them all the way with soil if you want. Or you can partially fill them with plastic jugs or pool noodles, rocks whatever you want. That’s what I do. Splitting out the plants… if you mean by splitting up the pot of plants, there are couple ways you can do it. I figure out where stem is and separate it by pulling. Or you can use a sharp knife and cut it.

DO NOT include ivy as a 'spiller' because they hog the pot!
@lowes9 ай бұрын
We used ivy in our example because of its trailing habits that make it a good choice for spilling over the edge of container pots. Good alternative options are petunias, calibrochia, supertunias and marigolds!
