Does grout help gloss the tiles? They look very glossy after

Great observation! While grout can sometimes create that effect on tiles depending on the application method, we used our Bedrosians Cloe Glossy Ceramic Subway Tile for this project, which likely accounts for the extra glossy finish. ✨

They did a great job, but I wouldn't recommend a crowbar for removing the old backsplash. There are better options available, although you'll almost always wind up with wall damage. Also, you'll need outlet box extenders if the new backsplash is thicker than the old backsplash or if there isn't an existing backsplash.
