This is one of the many reason I love golf. This guy's modesty is awesome. The guy sets the all-time golf record, and he's just conversational afterwards. Meanwhile, in the NFL, a player makes a tackle to prevent a first down, or a player makes an 11-yard run, and they do a pose/dance, and/or look for a camera to stare/yell into.

I dont think most women golfers would take that remark as sexist. Golf is golf, anatomy and hormones are what they are. The reason there are women's tees is that most men hit the ball off the tee further than most women. At the PGA level distance off the tee matters a lot more. For the average golfer the handicap system means the short game is super critical. Sometimes the women's tees are harder just because male greenkeep staff can put them in some really difficult places.

Excuse my ignorance...what is a PGATour sanctioned round? Under their financial management I guess. Yeah, that womens golf jibe gaff was not intentional but was a loose slip of the tongue and unfortunately it really sours the acheivement...sad
