While working on a video myself I really started enjoying the RIS II handguard for budget builds. It is great for the price and can be modded without buying any rails. I love to use it as on ADARs any M4s during the wipe!

If you choose to slap the Remington handguard onto your M4 you can use the JP Enterprises Gas System-6 gasblock. It is dirt cheap on the flea, because you can only use it with a few handguards and it gives you 4% recoil reduction! So basically you make the Remington handguard a better choice than a meta handguard with the cheap MK12 gas block, which has only 2%...

Why would you buy the full gun when you can buy the lower receiver from mechanic? You are wasting 40k when building the meta one by buying a gun from the flea. Besides the receiver, you change every part of it anyway.

I like the M4 over the HK any day of the week, because of the stats sure but mainly because I fucking *hate* the noise of the stock(?) collapsing every time you put the gun away for inventory or switching firearms.

If you have mechanic level 3 there is a really cheeky trade you can do. He has a TX-DML trade for 2 GP coins and 2 pressure gauges. This should cost roughly 140k on flea for these 4 items, then you want to strip the gun, only keeping the short barrel, MUR upper receiver, and JP gas block. Sell the rest of the parts back to mechanic for roughly 100k, and you just got those 3 really good parts for only 40k. Then I buy an M4 base from mechanic for 20k, and then build out the rest of the gun. I usually do the SAI short handguard, saker suppressor and comp, hogue grip (you can spend more on this if you want more ergo), MOE stock with rubber pad, rk-1 grip. This ends up at 41 recoil and low 50s ergo, and only costs about 220k at the end of the day with only level 3 traders. Not best in slot, but insane value for the money for a very near meta build.

@@jesseroberts1041 The 28 recoil M4 has 34 ergo without mags...so, imagine with a 60 round mag and good amo, you got very low ergo and your moding to lower the recoil is almost useless. Lol It's not for nothing that people who play high pvp Labs all go to high ergo to shoot in short bursts of 3 bullets. Tap the head and loot. Lol Playing laser and holding a line is at least 2 wipes old. Meta change, moding change, especially when BSG releases fixes aimed at breaking laser weapons like we had at the start of the wipe with the M4 and then the MK. And I'm not even talking about the missfire and ammo overheating...

Gotta complete his quest first, called The Cult - Part 1, it's after Humanitarian Supplies and Eagle Eye. Wouldn't waste your money on that rubbish though - if you can't afford M855A1 at the very least, maybe you should look elsewhere. M4 on a budget isn't that great compared to other options IMHO

Please give correct info. U can buy m856a1 at peacekeeper 2 but you need to complete a lot of tasks to unlock the ammo from peacekeeper. Maybe inform your audience about that to.

M855A1 can rarely be found on ADAR SCAVs - found one today with 3 spare mags so easy 120 rounds. That being said I sell them - I wouldn't bother running M4 if I couldn't afford M995 - as anything below that is a joke completely not worth the price. Neither is M995 to be honest but it's the bare minimum I would use. If you can't afford it, probably shouldn't run 5.56 platform to begin with - you get better bang for your buck elsewhere.

MCX 300 Blackout AP rounds are the best of both worlds in regards to 5.56 and 7.62x39. Rather inexpensive as well for a sub 55 recoil build.
