Love your reviews of gels. The level of details is perfect. For those wondering about weight.. The larger mass travelling at the same fps will carry more joules and further through the air. However.. If shot from the same blaster the heavier gel will have a lower fps than the lighter gel, but roughly equal the same joules. Though at 10-15% weight difference the fps change will be minimal.

I believe 7.3mm is about what you want + / - .1mm seems reasonable. I'd be quite happy to have that for rapid sorting. Oversize hardened gels can jam up mags so sorting them out fast is a big plus. I'm trying many gels in an Op-tac integrated hop-up barrel, different gels change hop-up amount quite a lot due to composition and weight so I'm now into selecting gels for accuracy and lack of breakage with my chosen hop-up over hardness.

I'm not sure if ceh still does it but you could buy gels by the kg years ago 😂 still got the majority of 7mm red stingers left
