This is how you HAVE to play Protoss now: scrappy and high-pressure. You CANNOT sit back against Zerg or Terran anymore, because too many of the early-game defense tools are gone or neutered. They are forcing Protoss to be more aggressive, for better or for worse. That was the problem with the second game for Skillous: Tempests aren't aggressive enough.
