Hi Nick, not to pick on you or anything but I think the reason why fog lights are yellow-ish is because yellow of the spectrum of colours has a wavelength that penetrates fog better than most other visible colours. It's not about the brightness or white-ness when it comes to casting light through fog and back, it's about how far the wavelength of the light can get you through the molecures of water. I could be wrong though but that's what I remember from those physics classes. Corrections welcomed.

Hey Nick, that was another helpful video. If you’re looking for ideas how about a non retentive override button for your reversing camera so that you can have a quick look behind you when you’re going forward if your view is obstructed by gear in the back. Maybe it’s not needed for an Mu-X but it could be useful for D-Max tray top owners.

I'm not sure if the factory fog lights are H8 bulbs. May pay to pull one out and double check. Auxbeam make these bulbs to fit all different fixings though, so they will have one for whatever bulb type it is. 😊

Mux manual says fog lights are 19w each, auxbeam specs says they are 36w each. Won't wiring be an issue

@@LowRangeNick I guess I'd feel better about them if one wasn't broken. Also both fog lights got instantly wet on the inside. Good excuse to get under there and swap them for the Auxbeams.

Hello Nick. Are the leds street legal. The fog light's on my MU-X are pitiful . Will those Auxbeams overheat in the confined space in front of the wheel arch . Fog light's are good on rainy nights , they light up the worn out white lines on the road. Fitted Provent 200 yesterday , didn't need to follow instructions after watching your video. Made the fit easy..Thankyou , very much appreciated..Kevin..

LED is a light emitting diode or cluster of diodes. LED uses low voltage and current to create high light output. The Xenon bulbs are a high voltage bulb creating a bright light output by passing current through a xenon gas chamber. LED is the way to go 😉 Alot less issues with LED lights.

They sit up behind the wing panel on the bull bar and have the inner guard liner protecting them also. They will get a little bit of grime in them but you can hose them off being that they are 100% water, dust and snow resistant 😊
