There's no good opponent for Dale. If you do combos, you're just fishing for them and don't know what else to do. If you grab, you're a scrub. If you're new to the game and you beat him, you're a scrub and the game is made for scrubs. If you're intermediate and you manage to outplay him, you're lucky and you don't know what you're doing. If you read him and play flawlessly, you're playing like it's EVO and he's not even trying. If you somehow don't fit into any of those groups but still manage to beat him, he'll call you garbage or a stream sniper, or straight up rage quit without saying a word. He just can't handle the fact that 95% of people are better than him at video games

His perfect opponent is one of his incel chatters who sandbags to make him look good. Which never happens because it's extremely obvious when they sandbag. He just can't accept that the games have evolved and there's not a zoning character who can bs you at range with you having no options to get in close. Also chatacters are much closer to each other in power level so there's not a single character or 2 characters that just wash everyone else anymore. There's actually variety in the top tiers now. Basically, games aren't simple like they used to be and his old unc brain can't keep up but he refuses to admit it and try to actually learn.

I think getting frustrated when losing in a competitive game is completely natural. What matters is how you deal with said frustration. Like, I enjoy playing Tekken 8, but I'm FAR from good at it. Meaning I lose a lot and get caught off guard by stupid stuff. So when it gets too much, I just finish the match, turn off the game, and go do something else to calm down.

Most aggressive yeah, but that doesn't mean easy. He's a good starter character to set easy combos with if you have a grasp of some of his moves, but that's as far as you'll get. Most of his moves require you to be in certain stances and depending on how much you've learned, it's harder to perform. Me personally? I'm going by pure intuition and instinct with what I already know of Hwoarang to even get a decent combo going, I drop those most of the time cause I mis-input a lot.

I agree that these Hwoarang players were playing unsafely and very badly, by just relentlessly throwing out default strings again and again. However, a strong player doesn't complain about this-- they punish. They know when to interrupt, duck, parry, and otherwise "take their turn." They'd be launching, counter-hitting, and leg sweeping these Hwoarangs all day long. Why would a strong player complain about an easily refutable strategy? I do agree, however, that Hwoarang is tough to counter at my level and lower. But at LTG's level, he should eat those players up.
