😂 my guy told her the way you break throws is by pressing the same buttons that you think your opponent pressed 🤦‍♂️ it’s all about the limbs you see used on contact determines which button(s) to press to break within a small timed window. Left lead arm is X or Square, Right lead arm is Y or Triangle and Both arms same time is X+Y or Square+Triangle pressed same time but some characters like King and Dragunov have more throws and would need practice mode set up scenarios or watch a video to learn how to break each throw they have determining the character’s animations. Then my guy told her how to dodge left or right is to double duck and double jump 😂 🤦‍♂️ all she needs to do is press down once to sidestep downwards and tap down a second time after that while holding down to keep walking in that direction. Press up once to sidestep upwards and tap up a second time after that while holding up to keep walking in that direction. My guy didn’t even know how to explain to her how to WR attack, just saying oh this is how you while rising attack 🤭 I hope she actually looks up tutorial movement and basic fundamentals guides on YT because taking advice from LTG only gonna have her plugging from matches 😂

The whole "learn all the moves" is absurd, from experience when i go to play with a character yes I'll go through the movelist and do all the moves to get a grasp of them but at most I'm realistically only doing like 5 out of the 100+ moves they give. There's NO reason to learn all of them when you're not going to do 90% of them. Your best friend is definitely going to be heat and whatever your comfort moves are. So, learn at your own pace, watch your replays to learn from your mistakes and utilze heat for good extensions. Hope this helps 🙏🏼
