Great to see this rare machine. I was waiting to see the affects of you slewing on the grass but you wisely reversed off. Hope we can see more of the machine. Thanks

I just watched Mr Hewes KZbin channel episode V12 in a living room. He has a box of Loyd Carrier track pins, new old stock which he doesn’t want. If you are interested let him know

Lovely restoration……although my dad used to break out into a cold sweat when he mentioned Loyd carriers 😂

Would be nice to hear any stories, I’ve only ever spoken to a chap who drove them in the 1950s in civilian mining use.

Is this the carrier that James Holland was involved in?

I have sent Marcus drawings and spare parts for his work on James H’s Loyd. It is the same version as mine that you see on this channel.

Where's the back up mirrors?

They only has one mirror and it is in bits in the garage being restored at the moment. The arm is fitted already.
