Loyola vs Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Highlights 2019 NCAA Lacrosse

Loyola traveled across town to play host Johns Hopkins at Homewood and the Hounds put it on Hopkins, dropping the Jay's to 0-2.
Pat Spencer was incredible putting up 3 goals and 4 assists, including to BTB feeds. Chase Scanlon put up 4 goals and 2 assists, Kevin Lindley went for 4 goals and Alex McGovern was 2 and 2. John Duffy put up a hatrick in the win.
Kyle Marr had a great day going for 5 goals with a dish and Joey Epstein went for 3 goals and 3 assists.

Spencer is getting better every game. He's stronger, and way more vocal. A teammate had his helmet knocked off at midfield and Spencer got in right in middle of the ensuing scrum, and in the face of Hopkins players, earning a penalty. Before he was quietly putting up big numbers. Now he is just downright dominating, all game long, in every respect.

Spencer and Scanlan played incredibly well. So much talent there it is insane. Again in this game Stover came up big in goal for Loyola. I was in the stands. Loyola brought a huge and vocal fan base and basically took over Homewood. Loyola dominated Hopkins from start to finish. It was worse than the score suggests.

Hopkins helmets are sick. I love these vids man. It makes it so much easier to keep up with the season since the games are minimally televised

Tinney hurts. Their mids can't get space. I think Epstein will do fine as a replacement for Stanwick. It's Tinney they have no replacement for. And their defense is not very good at all.

It's hard. JHU isn't the only top tier program struggling. Every school has a great facility and campus and the talent is spreading out. But you're still drawing top talent. Epstein is the real deal. You're just lacking a top dodging mid and your defense is Swiss cheese. They could bounce back.

Loyola has no weakness haha. Holding Hookins and UVA both down below 11, thats insane. Their defense is solid, their goal keep is a top 10 ball stopper. They are as legit as a team gets.
