Rachel Orrick I essentially butt dialed LP into google (was carrying my phone and hit the letters accidentally) looked down and found her on my phone. Never seen or heard of her. Clicked on a video and I was blown - the - fuck - away! Then was crushed to see that she had just played in Minneapolis one week before and I missed it! Frankly she is the type of musician you can listen to live all day every day. She is not a studio only artist and it is amazing to hear her use her voice as a tool with such emotion. She has opera training so this and when we're high shows that training.

I was completely “Shook” too the first time I saw this video, which was the first time I ever heard of or saw LP. It’s been years since I found an artist or their music which touched my heart and soul like LP’s music. I started listening to her album “Lost on You” a few months ago and it’s what I listen to most of the time in the car now because it’s relaxing and just powerful. Her music, the lyrics, the arrangements, and her voice! I first heard this song a while back working at Lowes, and every time I heard it it would stop me in my tracks and I had to literally listen to it and take it all in.
