There's a whole lot more people that missed this year (and every year) than succeeded. Some of those people who missed alongside you will eventually have successful LPGA careers. Some of the people who will make it all the way through to the LPGA will have one year on the tour, lose their status and never sniff the tour again. The results of this year have no impact on the results of another year. Eventually you have to decide what you want - nobody else. But I for one hope you decide to continue chasing the dream. I believe you've got the game and attitude to make it happen, even if it requires more persistence than you had hoped. But no matter what happens in the future I hope you'll keep making videos. Genevieve. You’re a great golfer (and very good at explaining strategy and technique). Playing golf for money is not easy - playing golf to win, but without thinking about the money, costs or consequences. I think you probably need a little bit of time to analyse fully what happened although I am very admiring of your honesty so soon after the event. Putting is the game within the game. And having a full swing that works well when weather conditions are poor is important. But even amongst the male professionals there are golfers that find links golf very difficult or courses set up for fades difficult. There are lots of other golfers like yourself that required help in order to get their careers off the ground (such as Karen Stupples), so I don’t think you should feel embarrassed about that situation. Keep well.

Your channel has changed our lives with your advice and discussions on course strategy. On the putting. we all know there you have good days and bad days. I play on a Pete Dye course every day and have hundreds of rounds and I’m still confused on how to hit putts. Greens are totally different from state, making adjustments in a short period of time is extremely difficult. Most of tour pros have success on one type of green and struggle on others. Best of luck in your journey and we will all be supportive.

No apologies necessary. We are here for you, not the other way around. Thanks for sharing your experiences and perspectives on Q school. There are so many variables involved and it makes us appreciate even more how difficult it is to be a pro golfer. As long as you take everything as a positive and learning experience and persist, it's just a matter of time that you'll be where you want to be. Take your time posting. Don't make it a chore. Keep it enjoyable. In your other videos where you played different courses, it's clear that courses and conditions can vary drastically. I would think that to be successful on the tour, you'd need a really good caddy who can analyze every inch of the course you're about to compete in and give advice during the tournament.

Gen, you need to do what you need to do to give yourself the best chance to get on the LPGA tour! I, personally, just want you to be who you are and give us updates when you are able and feel up to it. Sorry that things didn't go as well as you had hoped in Q school. Sounds like you had chances, but perhaps your preparation hurt you just enough to throw off your putting. I think you're very talented and will make it eventually! Good luck!

Wow, how brave of you to tell all of this to us! I hope you will continue to make these types of videos, but don't feel pressured to do so!!! I love to hear the struggles and the celebrations (in the future). I find it really strange that people react the way you describe it. So many negative comments. Please, be strong in order to handle it all!! Good luck in the future! Can't wait to see you on the LPGA Tour!

Don’t give up, but admit your weaknesses so you can improve on them, we’re behind you. To be honest, can’t rely on begging, make it yourself you can do it!

As a person who works in broadcast television and edits for a living, I don't know how you have time to put up as many videos as you do. I know first hand what it takes to edit, and your videos are top notch for quality along with great learning content. Also keep in mind that some people would post something negative no matter what you or anybody else put up. The greens being 7 when you practiced and then 10 when you played is a big deal and understandably frustrating. You will bounce back though. Full steam ahead, and as always....... Eyes on the prize, my sista.

Hi Gen, You are doing your best and that's all you can do. Sometimes the ball goes in and sometimes it does not. Keep trying and don't loose faith. Best of luck in the Monday qualifiers. You are learning what you need to work on and continuously improving! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what it takes to be a pro golfer. Best, Patrick

Hi Gen I've watched your videos now for almost a year and in that time i fell in love with your smile and great attitude on the course. But, more importantly, your golf swing is the best i've ever seen. It's right up there with Hogan. And, your putting stroke is pure. Gen, i'm 63 and been around the game for the past 31 years. I've also been a golf instructor so, i have a little credibility. Please listen to me....the people who support you will continue to support you so don't give up. I say give it another year and i believe your dream will come true. Take a few days off and get back on the horse as they say. We will be right behind tou...but Gen, get a really good caddy... Good luck

Telling the truth and how you feel is always good. It doesn’t matter what others think. Next year will be different for you.
