They father was once rich man but went bankrupt . They were so poor and ended up living in an old jail in one room. The thing I love most about St. Bernadette is that despite the many men of high authority including the Catholic Church who endlessly intimidated and interviewed her ,she never changed her story . She was only a young girl of 14yrs and very poor ,not well educated but she saw Our Lady for sure. I pray the rosary every day and to St. Bernadette.

Saint Bernadette is my Patron via My Confirmation, and a deep inspiration in terms of not being subject to people's opinions...and being misunderstood , and/or playing the fool for forgiveness sake or other Christ-like motives. She is a true role model of "the cross" and,,, as stated before: "the humble child of The Pyrenees".

The real miracle of Lourdes is Bernadette identifying the beautiful lady she was seeing as the Immaculate Conception. Being uneducated and illiterate, she could only have gotten these words from the Virgin Mary Herself. She had to repeat "Que soy era Immaculada Councepciou" all the way back to her pastor, who was irritated at first and said, "No woman can have that name!" But Bernadette told him she didn't know what the words meant and so she had to repeat them to remember them.

She... made a deal to heal people in exchange for her short lifespan, reason she was told that she wouldn't be happy in this life, but the next. Mind you I know next to nothing about Bernadette, in fact stumbled upon her maybe an hour ago. This is just my natural intuition and something drawing me to write these words.

The doctrine of The Immaculate Conception had just been proclaimed by the Pope in 1854. Only the Pope, Cardinals, bishops, theologians and other highly educated Catholics new anything about this doctrine. Bernadette's parents told the official inquiry they had never mentioned Immaculate Conception to her, and it wasn't taught in her school. She could not have made these words up herself, it was beyond Bernadette's abilities according to a theologian. She could only have gotten them from Mary.

This is Fr. James Martin, the same man who recently said on Twitter: "Catholics need not be wary of June's #PrideMonth It’s a way for LGBT people to be proud that they are beloved children of God, they have families who love them as they are, and they have a right to be treated with "respect, compassion and sensitivity" after years of persecution." - June 2 2018 (Twitter @JamesMartinSJ) He also said: "Not every #PrideMonth event will be to everyone's taste, but the underlying point-" - June 2 2018 So apparently, half-naked, three-quarters naked and all but naked men dancing on floats made in the shape of genitalia,waving and wearing accoutrements also depicting genitalia, while grinding on one another and more...is somehow a subjective expression of "LGBT people [being] proud that they are beloved children of God," and that "Catholics need not be wary of June's #PrideMonth". As a Catholic man, in my opinion, I find this statement willfully scandalizing and see no mark of the Church in this "priest's" remarks. June is merely one month amongst many. It seems every month is Gay Pride Month. No matter. The emphasis for the Faithful should be to pay attention to the infiltration locally and within dioceses writ large within Christendom and to educate one another with the mountain of knowledge and information the Church has accrued in 2000 years. That means understanding the socio-cultural implications as well as the philosophical and theological entailments. There are capable priests who do not endorse this man's opinion or apprehension concerning the objective amoral expression of pride vis a vis the Church Christ founded. Remember, all we have to do is what the Lord instructs us to do one day at a time.

At the beginning of the great movie (made from The Song of Bernadette by Franz Werfel), it says, "For people who believe no explanation in necessary. For those who do not, no explanation is possible." Bernadette did not "overhear" these words. She asked the apparition many times would she please do her the favor of telling her who she (the apparition) was. On Mar. 25th, 1858, the Lady said to Bernadette, "Que soy era Immaculada Councepciou". It's a waste of time to argue with an atheist.

13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. 2 Corinthians 11: 13 - 15 I hope people would simply be willing to test these things, the reality is that demons can disguise themselves. Trust in Jesus, don't trust in miraculous signs.

Dear Brother, Bernadette is the most astonishing incorrupt that exists. why do Catholics never point this out - it took me 51 years to find out the heroine of the Song of Bernadette, lays perfectly incorrupt - most protestants have a real problem with appearances of the Blessed Mother, if I mentioned that I met Jesus in my convent schooling,, they ask if I worship Mary,- no actually I have only heard the rosary once, even though I went to a convent that was called the rosary, very strange I admit, but true, we were being taught how to read the bible, which I am very grateful for, and we crowned her in May, never heard "queen of heaven" though - it was only when I was forced by demonized people to defend Mother Mary ( the horrifying things these demons say about Mary, and associating me with her, the crimes they commit - an Assembly of God Pastors widow having to defend Mary, I am so shocked and hurt that I can't get to , wait, wait; Mary defends me, not the other way around) I was forced to defend Mother Mary for a three years before I found out that Bernadette is an incorrupt. why do Catholics never mention this? I was watching this, and saying "Please show how that beautiful face looks exactly like that today" - and you didn't. Truly, incorruption is very weird, yet a lot has gone into displaying her - but like the shroud of Turin - I think this must be discussed since she may sit up - raised incorruptible right? I mean,when the dead in Christ rise, like after his resurrection, her sitting up to walk into heaven may be the reason the Lord has her there incorrupt - He certainly didn't have to do it that way, but He did.

Excellent on the comment. St. Bernadette is one among many. I started to learn about the Proofs of Discipleship through learning about the Catholic Saints throughout history, since the time of Jesus. Jesus in scripture tells us, we the people where to look and how to find them in whom claim that these things of his they will do! Not an if, but, and or maybe as the case is with the false teachers, prophets or priests. Just as the Chief Priest of the Jews Caiaphas did or as the claim of that half breed King Herod! These Saints exist in no other of the 60,000 plus Protestant Religions or in other religions. Indeed, the Protestants I talked with cannot support either their comments on what worship is or means; what idol worship is; and even what respect for our Blessed Mother is. True that this Priest interprets St. Bernadette as "keeping your eye on the ball" not addressing either the loyalty, faithfulness, love and devotion. It is in bad taste to me and he seems more like a comic to me than a true Priest. That there is the problem today for so many Catholics. Far two many Priests have ignored the warnings from the Popes of centuries back or they fail to adhere to commandment in representing him. A part of that is for them as for us: to seek out our Lord and God; to observe, to learn, to know and obey. Today, these Priest buy into the easy way out, ideas of Practicality, Comfort and Convenience. AND A lot of that seems to be coming out of the New Vatican as it seems to me today. For example, one of the new Priest tells me that there are only TWO DOGMA's of the Catholic Faith. That is a WOW for me.

@susanaltar 10 жыл бұрын
I as an Assembly of God Pastor's widow had to defend the catholic faith because this division is from the condemned eternally one that Jesus annihilated in His death and resurrection. That is what the protestants have as their main focus, as catholics do. The protestants think "prayer to a saint" is idolatry because they don't understand the catholic language. If they are insisting that you aren't a disciple of Jesus walk them through the apostles creed - also explain a "prayer" to a saint is " calling them up and asking them to go before the Father and pray with you." The protestants speak of the hope of heaven all the time, and even some pentecostals who have died and revived to this fallen earth say they go into the throne room and pray with Jesus - that is exactly what a prayer to a saint is - someone who is like us, completed their walk here on this fallen earth, heard " well done thy good and faithful servant" and enjoy heaven and can get closer that we can to Our Father because they don't have our broken minds and burdens of sin to weigh them down - they know the Father is true and can answer their prayer because they are with Him. I love the communion of the saints - now pray for that priest get some of the saints, like Saint Alfred the great ( he is honored by some Protestant denominations) to pray with you for that priest - this fast slavery to technology 21st century is making everything a "happy meal" that priest needs your prayer so wow wow - pray extra hard for that servant of the Lord.

HRH TARA Altar Interesting. The Churches you mentioned have been around since the last century as far as I know. Their teachings continue to help break down their religions call themselves the way and contributing to the already 60,000+ Protestant faiths in existence. A couple of centuries before many roots were established by those calling themselves non-denominational (a contradiction that the book of James addresses) or one of the other Christian Religions. All of course claiming they are the holy ones' of God; anointed; know God is on their side and that they know the way to Heaven or Hell; that Jesus who answers them because they are on the Main Line; Angels and demons, etc. Yet, they all disagree with one another and claim the other Churches do not know God and are in error. The one commonality they all have and unit on is that they are Against the Traditional Catholic Church, are against its doctrines and its teachings which are since the time of Jesus the Christ. One could say it begins with the Masonic's who did all they could to destroy the Word then, today and who's vow is still alive today. It is a group who denies Jesus as the Son of God. For example, as the High Priest of the Jews, Caiaphas did exactly that when his troops reported that his tomb had been opened. In the New Bibles and especially the KJVs which are modified in these brief decades to attribute to what the so called leaders profess and maintain in profit and collections. The New Catholic Bibles are quite ecumenical and "Protestanize." as many Priests from the different Catholic orders attest too! Another reason why there is a split in the Catholic Church which is going on now has to do with the Popes and Antipopes, the Apostasy spoken of in scripture and by various Catholic Saints throughout Catholic History to include the Apparitions of Fatima and the warnings to us people. It is not about the commonality as I find most Protestants do not know what Idol worship is, or even what is meant by prayer. What is more astounding to me is that they regurgitate but never look at themselves before the Lord. .I appreciate you comment and explanation. I find there are many overtones of justifications and rationalizations. Such as St. Alfred? Never heard of him nor his importance in the Catholic faith?
@susanaltar
@susanaltar 10 жыл бұрын
krakusdomm sorry He is particularly ( St Alfred) a favorite of mine because the protestants count him a saint and he was beatified by the catholic church ( did not merit sainthood - but I love him) - he is a relative like St Francis' first martyrs St Berard and companions is also a relative of mine. - Anglicans honor St George and St Alfred and of course the apostles, you would love the channel vaticancatholic.org - , My Pastor husband began courting me when I was in a catholic charismatic church - He was a greek orthodox altar boy as a child who was murdered in 2004 for preaching on the street, and going to our legislature and the supreme court for prolife activism - just like my relative St Berard ,who the franciscans honored - yes protestants are immature christians they scattered after that and I went back to the catholic church who has covered me since then, However as a lark I asked St Alfred to pray for me and Our Father answered - so I count St Alfred as a saint - catholics have him on their catholic online channel and note his beatification - again I was just interested because he is related to me and Prince Harry ( I adore that young man) St Alfred was made the first king of England by Pope Leo and again honored by protestants as the new protestants honor Smith Wigglesworth - I use them as a bridge to explain just like you talk about and "pray" to these saints that is all that the catholics are doing - so your attacking the catholic church for this is hypocrisy. The Holy Spirit in my walk asks me to "restore" a brother - as a pastors wife that was my responsibility to be a prayerful wife for my husbands congregation and that is Jesus heart - He wants His children close to Him - He also makes clear that He has seven churches, seven stars in is hand - and our apologetics and defense of the faith has created all these divisions which need to be quieted in these end times - we need to be loving and restoring a brother - praying when they are in error. Heavenly Father I pray with this brother, we come together in communion with the saints for the persecuted church today who are suffering because you have sealed them with your name - help us bring all people who call you savior to a greater knowledge of you by teaching about you and your love - and the greatest of these is love, forgive us of our divisions and show us the Father, Amen

HRH TARA Altar Thank you for the prayer request. Indeed, I am aware there are only two masters. Either you serve one and deny the other because there is no other way. So it is with the call of the faithful into the fold of the Holy Catholic Church and they will prove themselves by choice, by their acts and deeds! Lip service is out of the question for we are accountable before the Lord our God every moment of our Lives! Protestants lay claim many churches with differing ideas of Good and Evil, faiths, doctrines, looking for those who licensure agrees with their beliefs and calling that worship, etc. 2nd Thessalonians addresses these truths and of the coming Apostasy, not in some New Church of a hundred or a few hundred years but in that true Church Jesus established himself! One must ask why is that and seek the answer. If for no other reason then to find that truth! Follow the Proofs of Discipleship just as Jesus outlined to us, the people. In your Bible, even that so called King James Versions or Anglian Bibles (who had written the KJV but forbade their members from reading it). Study the caution given in the example of Abihu and Nadab in Duet.(The sons of Arron who claimed they could talk with God direct!). I have attacked no one or church here but presented to you a traceable truth through the world that exists but is slowly being wiped out with false histories! I am not blind and see it for myself. I do not accept lip service about what is sacred. Priests are a Gift from God to the people, the Pope as our Vicar! Yet, look to the "weather," the signs from God, and that of a fog that has come over his Church throughout the world in just these last 60 years! That of going against what the Popes of Centuries past have warned us TODAY about. Indeed, find and see for yourself what the Saints have said and proven by their incorruptible bodies. Indeed, I fear for my soul with all the lies flying about that now distract the young into self aggrandizement as though a career and a passion will solve it for them; they love of this world and a hate of God though they lip service him too! In truth you must ask yourself where do I truly stand before my Lord and God? Do I accept his Mother? Then answer to yourself your true devotion and loyalty. Or have you lost faith to despair while presuming upon God, as though he is there at your beck and call? I am a Catholic now seeing far too many truths bringing me both peace and fear. Remain Blessed.

Much more is not said as to what Bernadette communicated and should have been in this short video. The life and story of this saint is just one of the many proofs that the Vatican II sect (including this demonic and wicked heretic "Fr. Martin") is not the true Catholic church. "Pope" Francis even travels around the world to proclaim that the Catholic faith is not necessary for salvation when it is contrary to what has been professed by the true saints of God and by the true Church of Christ, the holy Catholic church "outside of which no one can be saved" - it's a defined Catholic dogma. Pray to the Blessed Virgin that the scales from your eyes may be removed before it's too late. "...get out of her My people."
