Hi. I have 100+ million youtube views, but am famous for kids music, when my soul has always been teen angst. When my wife and I heard this in the cartoon, we both instantly said, this sounds like a song that should have come out of me. Thanks to the show Invincible coming out during the best part of the pandemic(for me) and the best part of the last decade of my life... every time I hear this song it takes me back to that summer where it was just me, my daughter and son and their dad and we had no worries because we were all together and we didn't have to worry about anything because we had everything we needed that whole summer.. most important we got to enjoy being with each other without any of the worries most of the world was dealing with. And that song being in that scene in the second episode of season one of Invincible when he first spends time with Eve alone... (SPOILER ALERT!) foreshadowing the relationship and happiness the 2 characters in the scene were destined to have together (I've read the source material so i know the 2 characters in the scene end up basically "happily ever after"). This is the only song that i feel just as much if not more nostalgia every time I hear it than songs I grew up listening to.. I would say it's the most impactful song of my adult life since every other song I feel nostalgia for reminds me of being a child and having no worries. This is the only one I have experienced that feeling with as an adult.. Thank you whoever made the song and whoever decided to put it in the show... you gave me something to give me hope for the rest of my adult life..
