Clarification - When the mix is all the way in the pickup position, there is no microphone in the signal. When the mix is in the full mic position, the pickups are covering the lower frequencies in a crossover. Great overview Tom! Everything is sounding how we would expect!

Is that also true with the Anthem?

Yes-this is the way the Anthem works as well.

Where do you have the mic gain set?
@BrandonPetrucci18 күн бұрын
@@lrbaggsmedia can you give me some tips on how to set the mic gain? The manual says that the microphone game position plays a huge role in the tone of the guitar and I've gone through every one then to the blend and I don't know what's going on but I think I'm missing something I just got a Grace designs Felix and I'm pretty new to both so I know there's a learning curve but I also wonder if there is some setting on the grace that I am missing, one that has to do with frequencies that are adjustable on the grace internally

I like how everything is hidden, so it looks like a straight up acoustic.Quite an interesting way to add variation to the tones you can get out of it.

Honestly I didn’t really hear any vocal with the mic only. That system sounds FANTASTIC and I’m sure paired with the voiceprint DI it’s gonna sound like it’s completely micd up in the studio. That’s so awesome. I’m definitely gonna be saving up for this thing for sure👌🏽

Sounds very natural and honest. I am a Baggs Anthem aficionado and fan boy and have the HiFi in a Collings D1 Traditional which sounds great. I can't wait to try the Duet in a Collings OM1 Cutaway that I've been reserving for the Duet when it becomes available. Very encouraged by the great sound of this demo. I wonder how it will do with regard to feedback resistance at stage volume?

Okay big question, where do you have the mic gain ? There are 10 little indent clicks and if all microphone rolled toward the neck is 10 how many clicks do you have going the other way ?

This or the anthem is the big question

Hi! Sounds great! Is the HiFi Duet running direct with no di or other pedals?

Great sound. Unfortunately my LR Baggs Anthem in my Larrevee sounds just awful. Could you provide us with the recording chain please? Is there any EQ, IR or something?
@adamstewart247Ай бұрын
What are the settings on the Anthem? Typically I think those sound best when 75-85% on microphone and only a little of the under saddle pickup just for some added bass. If it sounds bad I'm guessing it was either installed wrong or you have have way too much of the piezo in your mix.

Hey FYI, if your Anthem sounds bad in your Larrivee you should know that's unusual. It could be due to a variety of things, there could be something wrong with the installation or the set-up or even the pickup. When working correctly the Anthem is about as good as it gets. If you haven't already done so you should call us and see if there is anything we can do to help you.

My Anthem really came to life when someone told me turn the blend all the way to the much so clockwise towards the bridge. Then get your little tool and turn the mic gain all the way up until you hear the hiss then rotate counterclockwise just until you hear the hiss go away it's very little probably around 75 to 85% mic. Then go to your blend and it's always good to test the limit either way so go right all the way clockwise to all pickup and slowly back down. With the microphone gain that high you can go a little heavier on the pickup blend side. I would venture to say that you've gone too far with the mic gain. Even how it was set from Factory was too far

Sounds like the guitar, but only louder. This is the closest I have heard to-date
