There are some signs. The truck is not level and lower from any one side. The other is it shows the suspension status on the screen.

Read somewhere that you need a dealer to calibrate the height after replacing the height sensor. Did you just put the new ones without re calibration ? And is the car (and all 4 sides) at the same / correct height ?

Yes I didn't recalibrate the sensor's and yes it's at the same height.

Are those sensors the one with the 3 pin? Cause u know the oem ones have 6 pins.. I tryed the aftermarket one but I couldn't get it plugged in for shit..

No they are the six pin. Yeah the first ones I bought were 3 pin and returned them. Always ask before buying.

Apparently your meant to re-calibrate after doing this but I don't have a IID tool to re-calibrate. Did you re-calibrate or was it all ok just replacing it? My front left is bad and I've got a replacement on the way. I'm having trouble finding out how necessary re-calibration is.

Yeah i didn't recalibrate them at all. Just replaced them. Haven't had any problems.

Which screw are you asking about? It's been awhile since I worked on the lr3.

I broke the sensor and hit it with a hammer and pry bar. Got it loose to where I could spin the screw. The salt here in Illinois always makes it hard to work on the cars.

I used two aftermarket and two original. They work the same. Difference is the price.

@@josecuervo8340 I'm asking because while searching aftermarket sensors on Aliexpress found alot of complains saying they don't work and even cause fatal system errors. Where did you buy yours?

@@alecovchinnikov8724 Yes some of them do that. I had to exchange one that was faulty. I got mine from eBay.

My LR3 had a bunch of issues with the air suspension when I bought it. There are a couple of things to check. One is if you have the hse it comes with the navigation screen which includes the air suspension diagram. It will show each corner and flash red if there is a fault. The other way is it will not level out and raise only from side. There are probably more ways but this is how I know. Hope this helps.

Lightly spraying with a silicon lubricant spray or similar will always make this a lot easier ....... good job .
