In this video, I assemble the lower receiver assembly that I am using for the LR308 Budget Precision Rifle Build. I go through the different steps, as well as explain one setback that I ran into and one modification that I made. I give a brief overview of the Timney trigger and how it differs from a stock trigger. I also provide an overview of the Luth-AR stock.
I originally intended the disassembly and assembly videos to be one, but I broke them into two parts for time sake. If this is the first of my videos you are watching, I highly encourage you to check out my first and second LR308 videos before watching this one.
Ultimately, the goal is to take a budget LR308 (AR10) rifle and build it into a precision rifle using low-cost parts. This rifle will have two different uppers, one in .308 Winchester and one in 6.5mm Creedmoor.
