Lovely video! Brings back memories of my first few goes at sea fishing there as a kid, catching garfish on the float, now maybe 50 years ago🥴

Thanks Steve. Nice to know it stirred up some memories. Plenty more on the channel from all over the country. Don't forget to sub 😉

Cheers Bob. It's definitely a freakish place for them. If you search Exmouth Docks diving you csn see them all. There loads

Great video and fascinating fishing. Too bad that Tompots are out of my reach, beautiful creatures.

Thanks George. They are certainly a unique creature aren't they. I love catching them.

@@LRFandHRF sorry for daft question what’s the yellow thing above your hook
@LRFandHRF10 ай бұрын
It's moonglow. I'll send you a link. Helps in low visibility and into darkness. Kev Benton introduced it too me when I was up in Hartlepool and always no harm to add a bit in murky water

Can I ask what the 'yellow' tube is on the DS rig? Is it so kind of attractor??
@LRFandHRF10 ай бұрын
Yeah. It's moonglow. It's a trick I got shown while I was up in Hartlepool. It helps when visibility is low and into dark. Not sure if it helped in this video but certainly didn't stop the bites.
