Thanks for these videos man. They really do help me, i need to target sea bream more as i dont really fish for them on artificial.
@fishinginthemed31105 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoy them! seabream are one of the harder fish to catch on artificials, way easier on bait. but they definitely are rewarding fish to target 🤝🤝 Thanks for watching!

Amazing video and such a thorough presentation! What about temperatures/seasonality? Are they more likely to be found during autumn/winter/days when the water is colder? I fish in the south east of Italy where the rocks look exactly the same as Malta and you know how hard it can be to catch anything with artificial lures so I can't express how valuable I find your channel/TikTok profile!

@@AngelicalOrABeat Bream are not migratory, so they’re always around. In this case it was late winter-early spring. (breeding season) apart from that time it’s hard to so many so active, but in summer i’ve still caught a bunch just in different ways (like in my last video)

@@fishinginthemed3110 Awesome, thank you! One more question: what about fishing at night or like 2 hours before dawn? Is this technique still effective in your experience?
@fishinginthemed311027 күн бұрын
@@AngelicalOrABeat Since bream aren’t ‘true hunters’ they dont regularly have a massive activity spike at dawn like most predators, rather it’s more about finding the right conditions where they’ll be eating. Regarding nighttime- specifically when crabs are moulting (i havent pinned down how to track it) there are gigantic bream in extremely shallow spots. i’ve managed to find them a half dozen times to the point that i can sightcast for the big ones, but it’s always very late into the night. you might have better luck in the ports and lit up sheltered areas generally at night

Great stuff, subbed. I have a few questions as I've recently started getting into LRF, do you mind answering a few of them I'm very new to this hobby and learning has been a very steep curve for me😅 1. Do you let the jighead sink to the bottom? 2. How do I avoid snags? (I lost a ton of tackle because I fish on the breakwaters, RIP ☠️) 3. I have a Ryobi Krieger 4000 FD reel, do you think it is too heavy for LRF? Thank you in advance, looking forward for more of your phenomenal content. Tight lines bro
@fishinginthemed31102 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! 1: yes, you need contact with the bottom for soft plastics bream fishing. Not for every lrf approach though 2: some snags are unavoidable, on this particular day i snagged probably 10+ times and retrieved it on 5. try weedless maybe, and count your sink time. that way you can keep it on the bottom minimally 3: way too big, i wouldnt even consider 3000 for lrf. Overkill and those reel sizes just arent built for sub pe1 line. With that setup maybe consider a more HRF or medium spinning approach for bigger fish!

Hi , I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the jighead weight?
@fishinginthemed311015 күн бұрын
@@yasinozkaran4417 Usually i use as light as possible for that spot and wind conditions, you need the lure to be able to hit the bottom with the minimum weight possible, to keep it looking natural
