Jacob: "You just see the Matrix in card games, really easy don't ya? Just 'cos you've been playing them so long." Wheeler: (sweet as pie) "My doctor calls it autism." I FEEL THIS IN MY CORE. I feel SEEN and HEARD and UNDERSTOOD.

As somebody who is super recently healing from a couple of decades of autism self-denial, I also feel this right in my heart.

Yeah no that's a whole mood, and I am glad it delighted Jacob as much as it did! Wheeler has a finely-honed sense of humor, and it's nice to see it appreciated 😊

God, I love when a highlight is just someone (often Jacob) absolutely losing it laughing about what someone else (often Wheeler) said.

It's not in the clip, but in the full Watch+Play stream context he does explain its an enthusiast group for homemade ammunition, who like to include... just a bit too much excitement powder.

Can someone explain that weird MTG interaction at 11:40 ?
@gubaguy8 ай бұрын
It's got pariah on it, so all damage that would be dealt to them is instead dealt to it, it was unblocked bit it didn't have enough power to lill itself and they sacrificed a creature to try and get enough damage through to suicide their own creature to itself. But since it's power is still lower than it's toughness it can't kill itself.

@14:12 The pengu thing? The first time I ever heard of the Nute Nute step Kathlene was making a joke about queefing while someone was attacking. So, I'm confused now about the pengu thing.

Yeah the sooner they get off this button the better, it makes no sense
@BenjaminKlahn8 ай бұрын
@@IncredulousPasserby well it makes sense as a queefing joke. It's onomatopoeic
@COHawke158 ай бұрын
I assume 'the pengu thing' is in reference to an old stop-motion animation series called Pingu, in which the titular character (a penguin) would often utter "NOOT NOOT" very loudly, usually as a way to announce itself or communicate (everything else in the show communicates mainly in gibberish, grunts and groans). Pretty goofy little thing.
@IncredulousPasserby8 ай бұрын
No I mean I understand how “the noot noot step” could apply to either queefing or pengu or whatever. I have no bloody clue as to how that applies to MtG at all, this joke is very much a “had to be there at the one stream it was said on camera” thing
@Mordalon8 ай бұрын
@@IncredulousPasserby I believe it evolved from how when people attack with either a lot of creatures or a really big one they go "beep beep" like a car horn like they are about to be run over, and at some point someone did a variation replacing it with "noot noot" as it's also a "horn" sound but goofier.
