@@lifestyle936 Limited is any format where the cards you're playing with began the event in a pack - be that a play booster, a jumpstart pack, or a 'pack' created from a cube. If you arrived at the event with a deck already constructed, that's, well, Constructed, the alternative to Limited.

The most popular ones are Sealed and Draft, but Jumpstart is also a limited format, because you play with 2 jumpstart packs you open when you want to play. The opposite of limited formats is Constructed, where you create your own deck at home and bring it at the event. Modern and Standard are constructed formats.

Is there an easy way to keep track of cards in a pack so that it’s easier to take apart and put back together? What if both packs are blue? Anyway around this?

You can mark the sleeves somehow or smth, but the way i do it is just having the decklists around so you can put the decks back together
