LS COOLING! Is a 160* thermostat worth it?! No! And yes!

In this video I quickly explain how a cooling system works, and how you could potentially make it worse, then I replace my 160* tstat with a 187* and see if it fixes my issue!

My two 2004 ls1 gto Factory.. Is runs around...220 Degrees... She runs a little warm but they say Is l s motors like to run warm..

210 is typically where the t stats are meant to keep these engines at.. 220-230 at idle isn’t the bad part, but at wide open throttle 220+ is probably not good , especially for a guy like me that likes to go a 1/4 mile on pump gas and 14-15 psi
