The factory bell housing that went with the NV4500. I got that trans from a 92-93 ish Chevy k2500.

What manual do you use like in you bearing video?

Used a nv4500 slave, and master master for the nv4500. The release bearing, clutch and pressure plate are from the SM465.

Can you do a driving video? I have the 93 nv4500 with granny low and a l59 5.3 flex fuel I swapped in my 1980 but kinda trying to see what’s out there. There is no driving video of an LS with an nv4500. All this is going in my 91 suburban with 3/4 ton semi float axles

I have done only about 100 and some kilometres over all. Seems to run very well and I am happy with the end result. I think in the future I might have to do a gear swap as the 3.08s might be a bit to high with 35s.

very nice. I'm thinking of doing a 1999 5.3 swap into my 82 k10. I just can't decide whether I should keep my current th350 or put the 4L60e in also. Which would you keep if you couldn't get a standard trans?

Just depends on what you are doing with it. Nice to have the overdrive with the 4L60E. But they don’t take abuse like other transmissions. I ran a turbo 400 trans behind my 6L when it was in another mud racer. But it was for race only and I needed a good trans to handle the abuse which it did.

It is a 2005 LQ4 so short

Did you have to use a spacer on fly wheel I have a long crank 6.0 im replacing my 4.8 with a long crank and nv3500. I would like to use a nv4500 have no idea if the nv3500 clutch stuff would work on the 4500

@@devanolear3121 never had to use a spacer. I used the flywheel from a 2005 2500hd with a 6L. Then I used the pilot bearing from the same truck. Clutch and pressure plate is for the 1980 K10 with a sm465

Think it was from a 82. I bought another 79 that someone started converting into a newer 80s front clip and it had a newer box on it also
