Can you please tell me what throttle cable you use? Part number please and thank you I love all of the videos help me out a lot.

It's for a 2002 Camaro with an LS so Z28 or SS. I just Googled it and bought the one that popped up on Amazon or eBay I can't remember. I don't know the part number but it should be an easy enough part to find.

How much does that box from filtec cost with all the stuff it came with Jerry
@ForsakenSteel Жыл бұрын
It's about $2000 and comes with intake, fuel rail, injectors, wiring harness, computer and handheld to set it all up.

I noticed that at 10:27 you installed the throttle cable bracket and only put one gasket on....you had 2 gaskets. So it should of went intake manifold,gasket,throttle bracket,another gasket,then the throttle body. Hope you figured it out...I'm still in the middle of watching! Liking what I see so far! Your garage reminds me of Finnigans garage at his house lol *edit...it must have a o ring style gasket..
@ForsakenSteel2 жыл бұрын
Yes it has an o-ring gasket in the throttle body. The bracket came with two gaskets in case you were using some other brand throttle body. Thanks for watching

If you would have used the Holley LS swap motor mount kit that engine would have been more forward and you wouldn't have issues with how close the fuel rails are to the heater core bungs and then you also wouldn't have had problems recently when you switched to the Holley/Blackheart trans cross member. I'm glad I'm researching thoroughly before I do the LS Swap on my Thirdgen Firebird.

I wish I had gone with them from the state. If or when I do another 3rd Gen that's definitely the way I'm going to do it. Thanks for watching.

Does FiTech lock tite the throttle plate screws? Might want to check that so they don't back out and get sucked down in your engine. I've heard a few horror stories of those screws wiping out an engine.
@ForsakenSteel2 жыл бұрын
Yes they have thread locker. You can see it from the back side but I don't show it in the video.

I feel for ya. Working in a time crunch is always tough. One simple mistake can become a big issue because you have limited or no time to adapt something else. Hope the yoke issue works out. Look forward to seeing the next video. Be safe and stay well.

What is the part number on your fitech system?
@ForsakenSteel2 жыл бұрын
It's 700001 for the one I started with. It doesn't come with transmission wiring though. My buddy loaned me the harness out of his system. I'm not sure the part numbers for it though. Hope this helps.
