LS2 Helmets | 2025 DRAGON Helmet & SPECTRUM headsets

I returned to riding a few years ago, and I bought a mid level LS2 helmet. It's been the nicest helmet I had, until I won a top of the line Klim adventure helmet in a contest. To be fair, the Klim costs over twice as much as the LS2, but with that said, the Klim amazed me, I've never worn such a light, well ventilated, perfect fitting as it. All this to say that the Klim spoiled me so now, I'm going to have to upgrade the LS2 now to one of their top of the line helmets. To prevent confusion, I have an older Ducati Multistada that doesn't see dirt. My other bike is an 2005 DRZ400 that's registered, that I take out to ride trails with.

I bought an LS2 Valiant a couple of years ago at the Bike Show simply because I was at the show and my credit card was making me itch. Oh, and it was reduced to about £180, or thereabouts. I had little expectation as I’m used to buying helmets that don’t fit or aren’t comfortable and ditching them, but this time I was amazed. Really comfy. The following year I bought a slightly newer model (Avant?) and it’s even better, plus this time I only paid £150. I’m sticking with LS2 for the foreseeable.

Saffy, some LS2 lids already space for a battery there. M y advant and advant x both have it. I use interphone u-com 4 units and have the battery in the pocket on the back.

Hey Saffy I wear the LS2 Explorer 700, they are a decent quality lightweight helmet, value for money as well, great informative vlogg, I never new about the battery pocket at the back of the helmet, stay safe x

The idea of integrated comms is great but it depends on whose version of mesh and what your mates have 💜💜

Shoei had the comms as part of the helmet with the GT Air 2 and Arai with the Quantic & RX7, the new GT Air 3 has it with a full mesh system.

@SaffySprocket just pointing out that it's not new technology and in life you generally get what you pay for in terms of quality. Always remember someone saying about a cheaper helmet have you got a £100 head, always stuck with me 🤣

Hi saffy ,I have a Ls2 stream helmet, not anywhere the dearest helmet you can buy, but I have been very impressed with it, There latest one you were looking at is very impressive and for you being a vlogger and a very good one at that, I not surprised you were blown away, I think you might be wearing a new helmet soon. They're a really great company. Part of the reason I like to promote LS2 is because they are charging really fair prices. I think it's a bit useless to promote a helmet company that the vast majority of people can't afford, especially because I'm someone who goes through lids really often!

@SaffySprocket yes me too, I have 4 helmets at the moment, I have had a shoei helmet many years ago and it cost a bomb then, and there prices now are crazy and I'm not willing to pay their prices, good on Ls2.

@@RoyBarnes-v9p I'm the same! If I bang my nogging coming off, I replace my lid as soon as I'm home, I don't risk it. I couldn't imagine dropping £1k on a lid every time I do that! It's just not affordable unless you're a sponsored professional racer who spends of of his time on track

I don't think so, despite being biased towards the company, I genuinely think they did an amazing job with the headset. It's absolutely tiny and deserves showing off

My AGV helmet has even more tiny intercom. Its basically just some recessed buttons. And it's like that on shoei and schuberth helmets also. Probably many more. The most innovative part of the Dragon is the carbon vents as he said. That is usually molded plastic from other manufacturers
