Good review, I have toured in high end helmets, the pads initially sits tight but after a few days the foam adjusts to your head and then you would never want to wear a lesser quality helmet whether on track or tour.

I have purchased it 2 weeks back from Biker Genome, it is the lightest helmet at that range and i have riden 240km after that, and it doesn't feel like something I am wearing on my head, the aerodynamic is so good and the weight distribution. I have tried SMK but thats a solid brick i wold say, becase it was super heavy, even after wearing for 5-7mnt i starded feeling neck pain with that. PPL saying smk best but end of few months of ride they have to buy another helmet because the side effects they will face. I would highly suggest to go for this one, if someone can afford 5k for a helmet, I believe that they can spent 1.8k extra to get better comfort for long run. Cons : Light wind noise you will face. So, I use cotton to block my ear.

@SpokeWheels I have addressed your question in the last section of the video. It is touring friendly only if your touring is limited to 100 to 200 kms. Anything more than that is not suggested on this helmet as it has a compact shell and has a bit of wind noise. For longer trips, you need to go for a bigger shell like FF800 Storm II.

Well Sharp testing is done in UK and it a voluntary test which is not mandatory, but ECE is a standard which every manufacturers should meet. And ECE 22.06 is a more comprehensive test than Sharp. I've used this helmet for a single day 420 KM ride and the comfort has been just perfect. Ridden 3000K and IMO it will be great even for touring. The only con I feel is the wind noise, but I don't really have any other same segment helmet experience as the baseline. Hope this helps someone who plans to buy. Also, I'd like to know from the creator how the wind noise compares to MT Thunder 3 or the Axor.

Brother every helmet will helmet have some kind of wind noise and it will be more when you are riding against the wind. But MT has a slightly lower amount of wind noise than Stream II but Stream makes up by giving a better padding quality and better safety rating.

Mt helmet is really good, very minimal wind noise. I literally saved me from my crash ( head on collision, but no single scratch or pain on head ). Only issue I faced is that when add GoPro and motovlog setup, it makes heavy. Otherwise thunder 3 pro is best for all💯

For Long touring you can opt for it but will not be ideal, as the shell is compact and this helmet at cruising speeds of around 100kmph produces a bit more wind noise as the shell is compact the shape is not that aerodynamic hence the noise. today new video is coming on a touring helmet which I bought. But if you are touring within 200kms this helmet is fine.

@ No, there’s nothing wrong with the visor, the locking mechanism isn’t smooth, but due to pinlock, being pre installed, you don’t need to constantly keep opening up the visor. Hey, loved this video. I am also a Bengali and from Kolkata. I was thinking of writing in Bangla but then thought everyone would have problem understanding if they also have the same query as me. You said this is not appropriate for long touring because it is compact. I am new to making long rides and would love to know why you said so. And what is the best helmet for touring within this 7k range? Apart from all the safety ratings my priorities are a dual visor, light weightedness and availability of sizes as my head only fits XL or XXL sizes. Would love to hear back from you , thankyou. Anything more than that you might want to go for a bigger shell for better comfort as this has some amplified wind noise because of its compact design which you might feel tiring for long trips. Within 7k Stream 2 is the best helmet money can buy according to me. And XL XXL has the same shell in this price range. #saferide

No brother i have mentioned in the video also this is a compact shell helmet so it is good for short touring like 100 to 200kms anything more than that will be slightly uneasy. You can use it if you want but for the distance you are aiming to cover you need a proper touring helmet. New touring helmet video is coming soon hopefully next week

Zero value. Subjective. Where is the information that goes to rhw core of the issue i.e. safety? How does this helmet fare in terms of others in crash testing, and how have the 'improvements' in design and materials contributed to safety? What are the quanitiative assessments of the above? What teating has been done? When someones head hits the road, they are not concerned about the colors and look, shape, venting, materials, etc. We (the ones whose heads are worth protecting) are paying for safety of our skull and its contents, and the integrity of our face.

I can agree with you on the point that it takes a bit of time if you are not used to Double D lock, but it is the most safe helmet lock to date. And i would prioritize safety over anything else. Moreover, isn't that the whole point of wearing a helmet in the first place, brother. So if your helmet has a double D lock , that's great 👍.
