They could’ve had Luis from bogt have a SOLID Mexican background and family story and it still wouldn’t have came close to CJ. He was just the most involved in his game and everyone loves that. Dude really put ALOT of effort from himself to help the game become a success, he did an excellent performance, and produced some songs to help promoting the title, and all that was possible only because he wanted and worked the extra mile, that was never part of the contract, he did it because it seems he really enjoyed it, but misserable Rockstar was never gratefull of all that Maylay did for them.

I don't really think they ignored cj infact there's at of stuff they added in their games after San Andreas, for example in gta 4 there's an ad in the street that has him wearing a suit and sitting and also you can find cj running animation getting used by gangsters npcs and in the French version of rdr1 when you kill the Bigfoot or whatever it was you get an achievement in French but when you translate it you find it saying "No need to seek it anymore, CJ"

Man I remember back in 2004 when I first bought that game GTA San Andreas along with my first PS2 and boy was I addicted to that game like I use to stay up all night just to play it especially since playing GTA San Andreas for me was like stepping back through time into LA in the 90’s especially since I not only grew up in that era but also in the ghettos of South Central with my boy Anthony and his brothers Johnny and Lorenzo, and also experienced all the hood drama including the famous Rodney King riots that occurred when I was just eight years old at the time, plus sometimes I don’t even try to beat the levels I just stroll around all of Los Santos just getting into trouble LOL 😂. Thus here’s a thing till this day in 2024 my PS2 is still in good shape along with my GTA game from the 20 years I’ve been playing it especially since I always maintained it 😆

I really don't agree with Young Maylay's views. He wants Rockstar to NEVER layoff any employee to reduce budget cuts which is a BAD IDEA on the corporate world because they'll lose more profit to maintain and keep said employees. Basically ballas were representing crips in real life as they were outnumbering Families. Families in the 90's had to fade more ballas due to not so many active gang mambers. In the hidden ingame dialogs during mission #7 Sweet shouted "suu whoo". GTA San Andread locations are complicated, but most likely Ganton is not a Compton IRL as Compton should be near airport and Groove Street Family as the most active ingame gang set with very few but hella active gang mambers should be Family Swan Bloods IRL on the east side of Los Santos.

Being 32 soon, I was 12 when I first got into GTA San Andreas, loved it, one of my favorites, still great to this day and looking forward to the VR version. But I despise that Definitive Edition, and the original PC version has a lot of issues to work at 60fps and it's just all outdated... idk, i kinda moved on after a long time but I still think it's the best GTA, I just like GTA V even less and I'm not gonna get attached to VI or there will be a consequence (no VII anytime soon) But if there was anything I could change, I wish I played World of Warcraft instead of San Andreas... I really do, no one told me about it, I lived in poverty but maybe if I was aware, I could've had the fund to afford playing it as I definitely had the time but spent it on...what I think has less value to me long term. And yeah, Blizzard/WoW ain't perfect to this day still by any means but I do see more value of entertainment in it from younger and grown days lol, 2004-present both games came out same year.
